Our
Partners
We work with a series of like-minded individuals and organizations that are also helping make the digital world a safer place for the next generation.
AI Awareness
Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly integrated into our lives. Understanding AI helps kids recognize its capabilities and influence on their daily lives while also being aware of its limitations. This knowledge allows them to interact with AI tools safely and effectively.
Online Safety
The internet offers incredible resources and opportunities for learning and connection. However, similar to navigating a busy city, kids need awareness of potential dangers like scams, inappropriate content, and online predators. Online safety skills help them navigate these risks effectively.
Privacy and Digital Citizenship
Just like being a good citizen in the offline world, digital citizenship teaches kids how to behave responsibly online. This includes respecting others, protecting their privacy, and being mindful of the information they share. It empowers them to contribute positively to online communities.
Our Mission
Empowering families to safely and confidently navigate the AI-filled digital world through fun, engaging, and collaborative learning.
Educational Materials
The unique learning approach leverages their existing knowledge and experiences, fosters critical thinking, and builds a relationship of trust between adults and young people.
We want to make the digital world a safer place
In the digital, AI-driven world, the difficulty factor for parents in keeping children safe has skyrocketed. Among other things, we have to protect our children from
Cyberbullying
Online Predators
Inappropriate Content
Dangerous or Harmful Digital Footprints
Apps Misusing our Data
Misinformation and Disinformation
…and we have to do it in an environment where AI is helping break down the traditional walls of protection at an incredible pace.
Data Girl, Ayla AI Girl, and the Everyday Data Defenders are designed as tools for parents to discuss key issues related to AI and online safety with their children. We empower kids for a digital world in a way that fits the shorter attention spans of today’s digital generation.
Our materials are created to cater to three different groups
Data Defenders:
Discovery Squad
Designed for children stepping into the digital world for the first time, this group uses engaging videos as a springboard into the vast ocean of online safety, ethics, AI, and digital literacy.
Data Defenders:
Digital Navigators
This group, tailored for youth who are already navigating the digital landscape, dives deeper into the complexities of online interactions, privacy, and digital etiquette.
Parents and
Teachers
Angeline Corvaglia, our founder, offers courses and workshops to help empower parents with a better understanding of the digital world their children are growing up in.
